- When do you run the tour?
Tours run everyday. Just let us know when you want to meet up and we’ll arrange a time to take you on your tour.
- Where does the tour meet?
We’ll meet outside the Hipster Art Bar – ul. Pop Matey Preobrazhensk/ул.Поп Матей Преображенски 2 – which is just at the end of Samovodska Charshia.
- Who will be our guide?
Your guide is Mila who will reveal all about Bulgarian cuisine whilst educating and entertaining you along the way.
- How many people are on the tour?
There is no maximum amount of people that can join the tour so whether you’re a single traveller, part of a couple or group, everyone is welcome. However, there is a minimum of 3 people we can take on the tour. Be prepared to establish international friendships as you explore this historical city.
- How long is the tour?
The tour lasts approximately two and a half hours and includes a combination of walking, sightseeing and eating!
- How much food is served?
At each of the eateries on the tour, you will sample a variety of Bulgarian dishes but please let us know if you have any food allergies before the tour starts so that we can adjust the menu accordingly.
- Is the food served suitable for vegetarians?
All our dishes are vegetarian except for the Kavarma so just tell your guide at the beginning of the tour and you’ll have a vegetarian alternative. Similarly, most of the food offered does contain dairy ingredients so let us know if you’re vegan and we can change your menu accordingly.
- Will alcohol be served?
No alcohol will be served during the tour but you’ll have the opportunity to try some at your own expense.
- Anything else I should know?
Please come dressed with suitable footwear and be aware that during the summer months, the weather can be very hot!
